Ran around town with Lisa with the goal of testing the a7III’s lowlight capabilities. The ones at Lake Merritt were taken at 10PM at night with nothing but street lamps lighting her up. First time in a long time doing a photo shoot with some manual lenses!

This kid is too much of a natural. It's been so amazing to see him grow. I've babysat him since he wasn't even a year old because his mom was one of my first dance mentors.

Spent the night chasing lights with the lovely Kiera. There aren't a ton of neon lights in Sacramento, so it was an eyeopening adventure for the two of us!

I met Natsuna in the summer of 2015 when she traveled to Sacramento from Japan for a battle. She's so young - only 16 - but I've learned so much from her about embracing my femininity. Keep an eye out for her - she's goin' places for sure.
The first two sets were taking in Moriguchi, Japan while the ones in yellow were taken in San Jose, right before she became the youngest winner of the famous Style Elements Crew Soulebrity battle.

Created by Isabel Bagsik, Brown Papaya is a magazine focused on empowering Filipinx’s to reclaim their beauty. Unfortunately, many Filipinx’s feel shame for having dark skin and are told atrocities like, “you’ll never get married if you go outside and get dark skin” or told that we need to pinch our noses every day so that we can be beautiful. In mainstream media, Filipinx’s voices are not represented very well, if at all. We took it into our own hands to create a platform for ourselves to stand tall on.
I was the head photographer and took photos of 13 different Filipinx’s over the course of a few hours. I also posed/took most of the group photos and edited all of the photos taken by all three photographers. This collection are some of my favorites out of the photos I personally captured.

We were walking around looking for a spot to shoot when the blue mural caught my eye. We were so lucky to have been able to find all of these locations in the same parking lot! I never noticed the many hidden gems in Sacramento until I started doing photography and videography. Fashion is truly everywhere, as is beauty!

I worked with Tuyen and Francis to capture some memories that showcase their fitness life for their anniversary. This was an exciting shoot that I learned a lot on, and they were amazing working out basically the whole time.

My earliest memories of Subin are at "Game Night" at Greathouse of dance, spinning around with ridiculous power at the age of 15. He's come so far now.
